Lovely campsite by the river Lot

In de fantastische Lot vallei in Zuid Frankrijk vind je, te midden van de wijngaarden van Cahors, dit paradijs van vrede en rust. All our guests are thrilled with the location of Le Clos Bouyssac.
Our charming campsite is located directly on the banks of the River Lot, just south of the Dordogne.
There is a private beach with grass and flat rocks. The calm water is wonderful for swimming or floating on your air mattress. You can sit comfortably on the rocks and let the water lap over your feet. A natural play environment for children of all ages. An ideal spot for anglers to cast their lines directly from their tent or caravan.

The Lot Valley is a beautiful area for walking or cycling. The surrounding area is dotted with authentic villages, many of which are located on the slopes of the river with stunning views. You will find castles, bastides and caves, perfect for a day out. For the more adventurous among you, there are various outdoor sports activities to enjoy.

Our 3-star campsite, Le Clos Bouyssac, offers safari tents, bell tents, chalets, and spacious sunny or shaded camping pitches by the water. All with a magnificent view of the river. In the morning, we look forward to seeing you in our shop for warm rolls and delicious coffee. There is a large 22 x 8 meter swimming pool, as well as a children's pool. There is a cosy bar, a coffee bar, beautiful terraces and a small restaurant. You will receive a warm welcome from the Dutch family, Rosalie, Walter, Rutger, Emilie and Tessa.

We spent the last two weeks of June at this campsite with our Take Off folding trailer. We found this campsite on the internet on the Charme Campings website. The owners described this campsite in wonderful terms. Often you think it's too good to be true. Photos often look beautiful but are often disappointing in reality. But we arrived at this campsite and immediately had a good feeling about it. The campsite matches the owners' description perfectly! Beautiful spots on the River Lot. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet at this campsite and the view of the Lot from our spot, “PEACEFULL”. Nice swimming pool, nice bar and restaurant, good snacks and meals, beautiful surroundings. The campsite is run by a lovely, enthusiastic family who are happy to help you. Upon arrival, you will immediately find nice, colourful terraces. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Good to know...

Vaccinated and leashed dogs are welcome.
BBQ'ing is allowed, on feet and preferably on gas, but charcoal is also admitted. Please take safety precautions. In case of drought, BBQ'ing is not allowed. Should this be the case, we will notify you.
